Tree Protection Barrier Installation
Southwest Ranches, FL 33330
Phase II — Construction Tree Protection
Following the completion of Phase I arborist services — a comprehensive 83-tree inventory, CTLA 10th Edition appraisal totaling $496,857 in appraised canopy value, and approximately $60,000 in prescription pruning, hazard mitigation, and selective tree removals — the property is now entering the demolition and reconstruction phase.
Per the approved Town of Southwest Ranches permit (SWT26-001), 51 of the original 83 trees are designated for preservation throughout the construction process. The property owner purchased this estate specifically for its mature tree canopy and has experienced tree losses from construction on prior projects.
The approved landscape plans (Drawing Ld-1, Job #25030) require tree protection barriers at the Critical Root Zone or drip line of all preserved trees, with specific attention to trees adjacent to the demolition and construction envelope.
